The Quilt Show BOM

I've never done a Block-of-the-Month before.  I just never saw the logic behind intentionally taking a year to complete a quilt top, when I could simply do that by procrastinating!!


But, I decided to tackle The Quilt Show's 2012 BOM.  One of the colorways uses Robert Kaufman's Mixmasters Fizz, by Patrick Lose.  These fabrics are very easy to convert to solids:


I could have ordered a kit for the quilt for $249.95, but since I will utilize RK Kona Cotton Solids, I went ahead and ordered them from Hancocks-paducah.com.  These are the colors I chose, though viewing them on a monitor is not all that great:

I chose the fabrics and placed my order hastily, as I am leaving on a trip early in the morning,so I might tweak the colors a bit later. But this is my story, and I'm sticking to it...for now!
